Our Grand old Man!

Where would anyone be without a foundation? Indeed credit must be given to this grand soul who sired some of our wonderful progeny and was King of the Farm for many years with us.
Bred at El Kheir stud in 1979, Firegold was a superb working ridden horse, serving his owner well on the station before coming to us to live a quieter life with his ladies. He was a wonderful stallion to run with the mares, always a gentleman, caring and gentle. His very presence made you feel closer to earth, and more in touch with the joy of just being alive.... such was the peaceful quality of this irridescent chestnut stallion.
He was a weaning buddy for many of our foals, and took his role very seriously, sharing his dinner, and quietly helping the youngster deal with such a difficult stage in their development.
Knowing you has been an honour dear Boy, we miss you, and you are always remembered.
